How will sessions take place?
Right now, all sessions are taking place virtually. We can either speak by phone, or through telehealth. It is entirely up to you.
How many sessions will we have? Will I need to pay up front?
Payment is due at the time of your session. For coaching, it might make sense to purchase a 6-session package at a discounted rate. This is due to the fact that coaching is often addressing a specific goal that can reasonably be met over a period of 3 months. In a coaching relationship, it often makes sense to meet every 2 weeks, but this is something we can talk about.
I’m interested in intuitive eating, but I’m not sure I’m quite ready to give up the idea of dieting. Is that okay?
That is perfectly fine. It is completely understandable that you are struggling with the idea of letting go of weight loss in our society, where we are surrounded constantly by messages of self-improvement and thinness being the ideal. We will start where you are, and you will never be asked to do anything you are uncomfortable with.
