As a married mom of two, I understand the stress that can come with trying to find balance in your life. I know what it’s like to feel lost, out of control, and to struggle feeling like you are not quite measuring up; not quite being able to “get it right.” Often, we rely on staying busy to keep our minds off of things we don’t want to think about. And this can go on for a long time. It is sometimes only after a crisis (like a terminal illness or, say, a pandemic) that we are forced to examine our tendency to run ourselves into the ground, or eat to soothe ourselves when we aren’t hungry, or purchase yet another unnecessary item. What, we wonder, is this all about? The awareness is where we begin. Coaching is for anyone who wants to make positive changes in their lives, but doesn’t quite know how to start. Or, you know how to start, but don’t know how to get going, or keep at it. Through working together, we shine a gentle light on what could be keeping you stuck, as well as which small changes could be the key to change. By creating a vision of your ideal self, you will begin to see the You that you know you can be emerge.
Coaching is progress-oriented, with a goal of increasing insight and translating that into action. I will be a guide through the process of making change, rather than an expert who makes recommendations on specifically what and when change should happen. This is a partnership.
